The translators that we use for transcribing video and audio recordings are noted for their good foreign language listening skills, which they hone by constant communication over the telephone, face to face or by watching television programmes. These communicating and listening skills are put to use when they need to capture every sound, accurately assessing the content, essence and meaning of the spoken text. Since the recording needs to be constantly stopped and rewound, this type of work requires a lot of time and patience.

When performing the tasks you entrust to us, our translators make use of the skills mentioned above. If you need a written copy of transcribed and translated video or audio text, we will provide you with a text that:

• shows the time each speaker began to speak,
• includes remarks about pauses and non-spoken sounds,
• does not leave anything out, and does not contain any mistranslations,
• closely reflects the language style of the original.

All of the 62 world languages that we translate from/into have their own terminology and stylistics, therefore in order to ensure the quality of a text translated into other than Lithuanian language we offer additional editing/proofreading services performed by an editor/proofreader for whom the target language is his/her native language, since such a specialist will have the best understanding of the stylistic nuances of the relevant language.

We deliver the translation to you on time, you can watch the progress of your translation assignment on our system, and we deliver the translation to you by your preferred method.

Our 18 years of experience ensure that we know how to manage the steps of the translation process appropriately. Each step of the translation project (assessing the scope of the audio or video recording received, setting the deadline and estimating the price, doing the translation and the proofreading, and delivering the translation and the invoice) are performed smoothly and on time. You can collect the completed translation or it can be delivered to you as required: post, e-mail or fax.

We organise all our translation projects using an effective order management system.  You may access this system by Internet and at any time download a translation that we have previously done for you.

Subtitles and voice-overs

We collaborate with companies that provide subtitling and voice-over services; therefore, if you require it, we can provide subtitling and voice-over as well as video or audio translation.

The price for video and audio translation is set individually for each job, depending on the urgency and the quality of the recording.

We calculate the price for video or audio translation according to these criteria:

• if you provide a transcription of the audio or video recording – the price is calculated according to the number of words in text,
• if you do not provide a transcription of the audio or video recording – the price is calculated individually for each job (video or sound clip, recording, etc.) and it depends on the amounts of speech and silence (or non-spoken sounds, etc.) in the video/audio recording. If the talking is hard to hear and the speech difficult to understand, this requires more work and the price will be higher,
• according to the urgency – a higher price is applied to very urgent jobs.
