We acquired our editing experience by working and consulting with media and publishing house editors

Most of our experience comes from editing texts prepared in Lithuanian, English, German, Polish, Russian and other languages. Our editors are specialists experienced in their field, who do work for radio, major Lithuanian newspapers and magazines and publishing houses. Texts in other than Lithuanian language are given for editing to editors that are native speakers of the relevant language and who can edit the text in such a way that it perfectly meets the stylistic requirements of the relevant language.

Our editors know the rules well, they have a feeling for the stylistic nuances of language and they always choose the most suitable form of expression. We correct all mistakes – whether of grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, etc. – and we fix them without drifting away from the intended meaning of the text. When editing translation we check not just the translated text itself, but we compare it with the original to make sure that all the names, surnames, figures and similar information is correct. We strive to ensure that you get the final product free of errors so that you do not have to worry about the quality of the work we have done for you.

We proofread/edit all kinds of texts

Our editors/proofreaders check technical instructions, scientific/academic works, legal, medical and economic texts, accounting documents, legislation, official documents and literary works. Texts of an advertising or representational nature for publication are entrusted for checking to editors/proofreaders who collaborate with publishing houses and have experience in editing/proofreading literature for publication. The texts that they have worked on not only satisfy all the rules of language but also have a creative ring to them.

We try to offer clients a deadline that best meets their needs. We avoid late delivery by several means: we set realistic deadlines, we keep in touch with the editors working on the assignment and if we find out about any possible delay, we re-assign the job, thereby guaranteeing that jobs are always done not just satisfactorily but on time.

The price of editing services depends on the volume, complexity, and urgency of the job and its language.

We can edit from 10 to 20 pages per day. The price for editing covers fixing errors of grammar, spelling, punctuation, style and others.  If it is a translation (not an original document) that is being checked, we compare the names, surnames, figures and similar information in the translation to their forms in the original and if needed we correct them.

The cost of editing services is set having regard to:

• the number of words in the text edited,
• language – for ‘rare’ languages a higher rate applies than for ‘common’ languages,
• urgency – a higher rate applies to jobs of high urgency.
